Parking Lot - 2003

Molly Bradbury's 'Parking Lot' combines dance and editing techniques to create a surreal yet lively experimental short. The film begins with an intimate close-up of the Dancer smiling at the camera, then quickly jumps to the Dancer waiting for a car to pass, and then her dance begins. There is an interesting relationship between the Dancer and the camera throughout the piece. At times, it is as though the camera is voyeur, while at other times the Dancer plays directly to the camera.

In lieu of a musical soundtrack, Bradbury chose to leave the native audio, which under-went many interesting permutations through the animation process.
